My oldest shotgun shell so far - How old is it?

I found this shell while detecting in the woods. Can anyone guess a rough age? There doesn't appear to be anything written on this one.

I must confess my "ignorance" concerning old brass shotgun shells.:tongue3: I am beginning to have more "respect" for these often regarded "trash" items though as they can provide dates for other prospective targets in the area you're hunting. Any target that can provide research material for dating sights should be considered a "good" recovery in my humble opinion. I'd say you have an "old" one and should continue hammering that sight for the "better" targets.:hello:

Thanks! I've been finding them from the early to mid 1900's. This one seems to be a little older.
 

I find alot myself..Kinda wish I could date them also..They sure put off a sweet tone...HH
