Hi, can someone help me?
Is this toning? You can only see the colors ifor you tilt it towards light. The pennie is a nice red color. If this is natural toning (I found them with my detector) could you sell them? If you can sell these what price should I ask?

Yes it is toning on the silver.

The cent coin is just oxidized from being in the ground.

Silver, gold and platinum are noble metals, so the "usually" come of the ground shiny. Copper, nickel, brass and bronze oxidize in the ground and come out looking rusty or green.

Toning is usually used for collector type coins, as opposed to dug coins.

Well they aren't silver, just regular coins...
