That Charles Russel painting with the buffaloes reminds me of a buffalo jump I ran across while I was prospecting around Colorado several years ago. There were still bleached bones scattered at the bottom. I poked around there for a day or two, found an outcrop with some pretty Peridot, and several rock circles from weighted teepee hides where they must have camped while dressing out the carcasses. It was a special place I’ll never forget. Thanks for bringing it to mind.
