Neat old compass

I found this in the woods on a steep hill, it was down 4 or 5 inches in really loose dirt, I was using my 6x10DD coil and it VDI'd in the 50's. When I found it, it had a bunch of condensation in it but the needle was pointing north, since it dried out it works fantastic. The crystal don't even have a scratch on it, I couldn't believe it!
