Need advice!! any Help would Be greatly apreciated!!!

Hey so I have a question and I would Love anyone and everyones adivce!! I live in the Great falls Montana Area... I just bought my first metal detector and Its a Bounty Hunter quick silver that came with a Pinpointer. I was wondering if anyone Knows any good spots to go Metal detecting Here!!! I am gonna go look up some local history here in a few days and see what sort of things come up wish me luck I really Hope to Learn some good stuff!!!

Remember all the land has history and you never know what items are in your own yard. Ask friends and neighbors about hunting their property.

Dont forget to carefully dig then fill and dress the holes, leaving minimal damage. And haul out the trash you dig or any trash you stumble upon.

maybe you could research where the old portage routes and river crossings were, many times there is a modern bridge right where a river crossing was and in Montana below high water mark is public land, here is a lost treasure story for that area also

All around Great Falls has good areas to search. Example: The old Fort Benton area; The old mining ghost towns around Neihart area; The Lewistown area. Just a few.
