Well we already had it ID'ed as being fantasy, and when that was established it has to be a fake coin. The only part we didn't know was when exactly it was made, and had we figured out in the last ten years then we would have got the value too. So we weren't very far off. I also gave the same definition above for fantasy, but in my own words without looking it up. (because it's what makes sense) So I say we were 90% there and really it was that damn Heritage auction that caused most of the problems.
PS.... There's a good one hour show on lately about all the stuff that's being faked now and how bad a problem it is. Seen it just when I was about to order my medication over the internet from China. Great timing.

I realize you use the same initials but Siegfried has been using SS since 2003 and maybe you could make a deal with him LOL.
I used Seigfreids words because it seemed like a good definition of fantasy.. I always try to properly attribute the quote if they are not my own words. Its only fair. I dont want to steal someone elses words and use them as my own, you understand.
Maybe we can call you SS2 and Seigfreid is SS1.

I think it's the perfect definition. Now if all fantasy pieces could be thrown in a fire all would be great.
