NEED HELP ON GOOD PLACES TO LOOK WITH A METAL DETECTOR

I'm new 2 the metal detecting world and just bought a used Discovery 2200 detector 2day and dont know where 2 start looking. I live out in the country so i dont get 2 go 2 battlesites and things at all and i was just wonderin where in my backyard should i look. Any help would be wonderful. Thank you,

Any of your neighbors that own old homes. You would be surprised to find out how easy it is to get permission to hunt their yards. I've knocked on dozens of doors in the last year or two. After you've done it a few times, easy as pie! ffd

when you do this, do you offer the landowner anything. is zero typical? 10%? 50%?

If your starting off in your yard.. just start anywheres in it..eventually you will cover the whole yard.. read read read on info on places to go..
