Hi I live in Mo. ad spend most of my free time looking for rocks. It started with arrowheads and has just progressed from there. I have soooo many rocks and I'm curious about each one of them. They are fascinating to me. Here are a few that I thought I could get some opinions on.....maybe what they are.....I know what I think they are and lets see if anyone thinks the same. lol

The thread seems misleadingly titled "New and lots of questions". Probably better titled "New and I have all the answers".

You can't make wave with these guys. GRIM YOU'VE BEEN COLLECTING SINCE YOU WERE BORN. You didn't find all yours. There are many artifacts out there that you guys know nothing about. Educate yourselves! There is no room for advancements here. It's their way or the highway. In post 11, first pic. is a prime example of what I've been saying. Because I'm under a gag. Treasure Hunter I have not broken any rule in this post. You should open your minds here. Just disagreeing with the group. If I'm so wrong why do you follow me. I screenshoting this post for the future.

Plenty of room for both learning and advancement here. Misinformation and incorrect information, on the other hand, will usually be resisted. This is the case in order for learning to actually take place.

It is easy to make your point. But I'm being gagged. So how is that charl? I will put my mind against your any day.

I'm not a moderator here, Bob. Near as I can tell, you're only being asked to stop posting 100% false information. When false info is posted as fact, beginners have a hard job actually learning.
That's just my interpretation based on the history as I know it. It's as if, just as an example, there were an astronomy forum, and somebody continued to post their observation that "everybody needs to realize that the sun actually rises in the West! Educate yourself, people!"
If that were happening on such a site, and I were a moderator there, I would simply put a stop to it if the poster insisted he/she was right and everyone else was wrong. There would be no reason to put up with something like that. And, I believe, based on the history as I know it, that that is why 100% erroneous information, posted repeatedly, doesn't fly here. But I'm not a moderator.

As for putting your mind against mine, who said we're having some kind of IQ or whatever contest, Bob? I don't care one way or another. I'm not competing with you, Bob. Chill, dude. You're OK in my book and I have no interest whatsoever in rating your mind. I've got way better things to do, and, if I don't, I need a life...

Charl, getting the word out is one thing. Learning it requires hands on. But I'm willing to show you if you would like to learn it. Then you will be the sharpest on here. What do you have to lose? You should be retired by now. Take that educational vacation .

All my images loaded sideways, I do not know why. The left side should be the top. Turn your devices on there sides and maybe you will see what I see. lol However, this is what believe it to be. It is a petrified egg. What species, I do not know, Dinosaur? Maybe... but I will take it one step further and say that I believe "man" somewhere in time chipped it to be a depiction of the Phoenix and the Sun. I have several objects similar in shape.
To The Grim Reaper may I ask what your definition of an artifact is? I am always up for a little schooling

ar·ti·fact
ˈärdəfakt/
noun
noun: artefact; plural noun: artefacts; noun: artifact; plural noun: artifacts
1.
an object made by a human being, typically an item of cultural or historical interest.
"gold and silver artifacts"

"hundreds of unidentified artifacts are stored in numerous rooms beneath the museum"

The biggest part of that definition to me is "made by a human being". To me that means it had to be altered by man to be an artifact and none of your stones show any alteration or usage on them.
