New Andy Sabisch book out, Treasure Hunter's Handbook.

Just got my new book from Andy Sabisch called, The Treasure Hunter's Handbook. It is 256 pages of updated information and metal detector comparison tables and break down of all the equipment. Includes the 2010 Equipment Buyers Guide. I may as well toss out my manuscript now. This is one heck of a book!

I can understand someone being new to detecting filling there brain with anything they can find, but what do you think it does for someone that has been around a while? I tend to think if I haven't figured something out by now I probably never will!

The way I look at it is no matter who you are there is still something to learn.
I realize you've been around the block a few times,so maybe it's something you forgot.
Maybe you'll have one of those AHA monents, an epiphany.
If I go a day without learning something new,it's an opportunity lost.
It's the next best thing to my feet hittin' the floor in the morning.

There's really not much to forget since I hunt the same type of sites and look for the same type of finds. I really can't imagine an a ha moment from a book after spending 10 years to get to this point. I guess if people try different things then maybe it could help, but any book I've ever read on on detecting was just the basics.

PS... and I was (and probably still am) the type to do anything if I thought it would bring me more success. But it's sites, not know-how I want, so if he wants to publish one on Colonial sites in my area I'll be first in line. I know how to find them but would rather just have a map to show me.

Thanks Sandman I ordered mine yesterday from Richard (Backwoods) and he informed me it was in the mail I am looking forward to the read as all other articles witten by Andy were great.
