hey thanks for the heads up, I love shows like this!, I miss the one they had about the shipwreck recovery company, that one was awesome!

cjon, I was thinking the same thing. That show was also called Treasure Quest. The ship was run by the Odyssey Marine Exploration crew. One of my favorite shows of all time! Too bad they only had like 6 episodes.

Very interesting Episode !

sad part even if they find the rest of the Marker,
can they pinpoint where the boulder originally sat ,
& in what position ?
it could have dropped 50 feet & spun 90 Degrees before
bouncing and landing in the spot inside the cave.

the directions mean nothing if both pieces moved
when the site caved in.

The Hook ! also interesting, But remember...
there was a Lighthouse on the Island.
the Block & hook could have been remnants from when the Light house was Built.
Didn't Ships Sails have Blocks connected to them also ?
and Necessary on every large Ship for Loading & Unloading Supplies.

was hard to see what they detected, Coin or Lead bullet .

& about half way through last nights episode,
it became obvious to me they were going to put the "fall" at the end

I hate Cliff Hangers especially when next week comes
& he'll probably stand back up without help like it never happened

Was another Cool episode though

I agree, that hook or eye bolt looked to me like it was in concrete, which tells me probably from the light house construction. Anyhow, I don't think that eye bolt was placed there when the gold was supposedly hidden. If these guys have actually found the treasure, then it's the best kept secret since the atom bomb. There was a re-run of the second episode, so I've seen them all now, except I fell asleep before he fell, so I'm not in on the cliff hanger. To many snakes, I dreamed I was killing snakes last night. In my dream they weren't tree snakes, and the had funny little legs that were good for nothing. That place is not for me.

hmmm I'm not good at this especially 1 finger hunt & peck

Plus Memory Lapses from the 70's.

The divers found a Block in the water from a (Block & Tackle)

Started out them realizing the rock map was broken off during a collapse
so they brought all but 1 of the crew on the island to try and find the rest of the Map.

I don't know their names yet So all I can say is One guy crawled into a cave & while in
ended up face to face within striking distance of a Snake, While holding his breath so to speak waiting for rescue
by the snake Guy.

Back to the search for the Map, they wanted to search the Waters edge but waves were very dangerious crashing against the Rocks.
Of course Snake guy Jumped in without a Second thought, Getting stung several times by
(I forget what) they tried to get all the stingers out, And he went back on the island getting
ill from the Venom & heat.


While climbing the Face of the Wall they came upon a large EyeBolt
so they surmised the Block from earlier & the EyeBolt were used to transport the Treasure.

last 5 minutes or so Snake Man is on his back

And that's where they ended

One guy got scared by a snake in a cave.

One guy jumped in the water and stuck himself with sea urchin spines.

Somebody got hot and passed out.

Boat moved back and forth.

Somebody smokes a big cigar.

A couple of people went swimming.

Lot's guessing about treasure and more snake close ups with ominous music.

'bout it.

OH yea right before Snake Guy took a nap

the one guys Metal detector sounded off on Metal.

Preview showed 1 to 3 Seconds of the target in someones hand as they went to inspect it.
looked like either a small coin or piece of Lead to me.
Was too fast & out of focus, even for Pause to see if it was Flat or No

So no one is decoding the symbols on the rock piece yet, and no booze was involved in snake guy taking a nap, well I guessed wrong on that one.

The sword points to the treasure, the concave line at the tip means it's buried, the 4 (plus circles, if they find the rest of the rock) tells how deep or far! How am I doing so far?

Bum luck- just don't mail them a check when they want to sell you the Treasure Quest CD's.
