The baby is back in the hospital. She became unresponsive and wouldn't wake up so they took her to the emegency room. She seems to be doing better tonight but will spend at least a few more days there. It probably wouldn't hurt if she could get a few prayers sent her way.
Thanks for the kind words. Her name is quite special to me. We lost our son, Mat (with one "t") a few years ago. My middle name is "Morris" so the feminine combination became Matilynn Morrissa.
Congrats to you too civilman. I had a friend tell me once that, if he had known grandkids were so much fun, he would have had them first.

I will sure send a prayer her way.
When our Daughter was born 31 years ago, she was born without a 'thyroid gland', we thought she was such a peaceful baby until they checked her thyroid, as soon as she started the synthyroid medicine she came right out of it.
But i'me sure they checked for that.

Thanks for the prayers. My son says she is acting about normal today. They are still giving her a cat scan and she has to stay in the hospital a few days until results come back from the spinal tap they gave her yesterday. She is a lot better though even if they don't know what the cause was/is yet.

You have Kids and bring them up, watch em grow, nurse them through all illness and watch them grow and leave, and always worry about them, your Grand kids arrive, and you go through the whole thing again, but you wouldn't change a thing.
Hope your Grandaughter makes a speedy recovery, very sorry to hear about your outher Son, I nearly lost my son when he was 14, worst time of my life ever, life just stops. No Man should have live out there children, your a Brave Man..respect and prayers to you

I'm not sure if they figured out what was wrong or not but she IS coming home today. Heck, she's almost fishin' age now. 
Thanks to you folks for your prayers and support.
SS....believe me, I'm nowhere close to being "brave". Another of the bad things about losing our son is, when the granddaughter went to the hospital, we knew the unthinkable could happen. There was no denying the situation. We went to the hospital to support the parents as much as anything.
