Hi folks.
Fred from Princeton in British Columbia. Just getting started in the game and looking forward to having some fun with it. I'm a 68 year old retired Correctional Officer. I hunt, fish, and just about everything else to do with the outdoors. I found what appears to be a possilbe "glory hole" in our area and am just waiting for the spring thaw to cover it with my detector that I got for Christmas from my wife. Hope to have lots of yarns to spin as time goes by. Life is good. There have been a couple of gold rushes in this area over the years, with a couple of ghost towns and one of the rivers nearby is a known placer platinum producer. When out hunting I run into a lot of old abandoned log cabins and shacks in various stages of decomposition in the middle of nowhere and am looking forward to checking them out
