Is this guy serious? ::) I wonder how long this plastic scoop will last in the surf. I dont know if it has enough holes. The picture shows some cute finds. lol Anybody know anything? Will it work? http://cgi.ebay.com/LNC-SUPER-SAND-...4|66:2|65:12|39:1|240:1318|301:1|293:1|294:50

For a hand scoop it might fair OK
I think the first time you put your foot into it you may end up holding the short end of the stick.
I thought of having a scooper made out of Carbon Fiber; but the cost was sky high. It would look cool though.

I do not think this scoop would hold up to the use I would give it. As was said it doesn't have enough holes. It also is not very wide, lacks a point for harder bottoms, there is no heavy duty foot plate and small targets would fall through the holes.

So far I haven't found the perfect scoop and like a screen sifter for the dry sand and a Sunspot for the wet stuff.

Why is that guy standing on his bed
or is he ?
It looks like he flipped up the mattress for the background and appears to be standing on the boxspring.

What gets me is didnt he have some old coins, jewelry or real treasure to put in the scoop for the pic? He used souvenir replica doubloons and colored glass. ???

I thought about making a plastic scoop from a large PVC sanitary tee but never tried it. I would need a very large size. Home plumbing is only 4 inch dia.
