Hey there everyone! My first time on this site and I consider myself a novice at the hobby. Tinkered around with a Fast Tracker (Hobby/kids model) from time to time. Last week I dove in head first and picked up a Whites Coinmaster GT. I am still trying to figure out what this machine is telling me but I am totally addicted and can't wait to find something other than garbage or late model coins. It rained all day today and I moped around the house like a little kid who couldn't go out to play! Come on sunshine! I look forward to picking up tips and learning from all of you!

Welcome from a dirt fishing Gal from Middle Georgia! I say, you did jump in "head first" with the White! Feeling your pain with the rain as we are having our share here as we'll. Won't work if its pouring but I read that some folks were taping a plastic bag around the control device so you can still read without any fogging as they say some weatherproof covers give off. I struck a honey hole on the old farm land next to my property that I've been digging. I ran out there with my F2 once the showers stopped, started digging a high pitch signal and hit something metal with my shovel 9 inches down. Then came the dang rain, again! I wrapped the end of my t shirt around the controls until I finished digging it out. Neighbors were looking out the window laughing at me until I pulled out a rather large rod which is another piece of the Model T I've been digging out! Hope they heard me saying (: Ha Ha :)

Welcome aboard from South GA! Good Luck!
