New Year brings 1746 kg + 4 buttons

I was able to get out yesterday for a little while. I dug up 4 buttons along with a 1746 kg. 3 of the buttons are different. 2 have the letter v on them and the third seems to have a handmade shank. The coin is in decent shape. I'm hoping I can get more detail out of it.

Not a clue what a KG is. I mean I know it's old as heck, but no knowledge of it's history. But any 200+ year old coins gets me excited. Fantastic hunting!

Those buttons with the V on them are British Fifth Regiment of Foot, Revolutionary War!! The Americans also had a Fifth Regiment with a V, but yours look more like the British ones.

It's an early issue, pre 1778.

I've dug every single shoe buckle from the edge of water areas. 4 complete and 3 or 4 frames
