New Year Nugget

Took the kids sledding this morning, got home had a couple hours til dark so i went sluicing. Got a nice .9 gram nugget and a .2 gram picker. Almost a penntweight total with the fines added.I like my spot right now lots of big stuff, not much fines..wich i don't mind getting....but, I guess I will have to take what I can get...

thanks guys...went out yesterday also, got some more color,pics in another post....i will be working this drainage meticulously until the water goes away.the clues are showing that it hasn't really been hit since the gold rush. there were some guys working the area during the depression but, it looks like they were after the hardrock stuff up on the ridges.
