Hi everybody! Let me start with saying that this is a great site and it has been a real big help over the past month and a half. I had a Ratshak detector about 10 or so years ago and never did really get into the hobby then I relocated to Delaware recently and started to get into the history of the area and then found this site and started doing a little research into which MD would be right for me by reading you guys and gals posts here at TNet and decided to go with the ACE 250 for 3 reasons.
1) The ACE 250 was highly recommended by many here at TNet.
2) The price fit into my budget, Big thanks to KellyCo.
3) The ACE 250 was highly recommended by many here at TNet.

Anywho, I got the ACE 250 on Friday, Sept. 21 and have found the items pictured below over a 2 week and 3 day period.
All the wheats, the silver Rosie, the Merc and the bullets were found in my yard while learning how to use that sweet little yellow MD.

Not hard to use at all, even my 8 year old uses under my supervision and has found a couple of coins.
No gold yet.

Welcome from the UK. ;D

Welcome! Finding obsolete coins in your own yard is a thrill..keep at it, there may be more there.

Thanks. Coins were from less than 1 inch to 6 inches, Merc was about 4 inches down and the Mardi Gras token was alittle more than 6 inches. All found with the 6" x 9" coil than came with the Ace 250

Thanks Nat.
Yea, I live on 1 acre of property and have only covered about half of it thoroughly so I will continue to swing.

A hearty Tnet welcome to you!! Nice finds there! Some folks go a while before they find their first silver coin (it was a year for me, LOL), but it looks like you have started off with a bang. Congratulations! You'll find that an acre is a LOT of land. You'll probably be making finds on your own property there for a good while to come.

Best Wishes,

Buckleboy

Wow, great job. It took me 1 1/2 years to find my first silver coins. Now you need to get the 4.5" sniper coil. That coil is fun fun fun to use. Good luck.

Got to agree with you on that...I LOVE MY SNIPER COIL........................

Welcome to TN.

Bullets in your yard. Holy cow! Either a great yard or you have the Hatfields and the McCoys for neighbors. Do you know how old they are and what caliber?

We need some close-ups man. Whats the pearl thingy? How about the ring? Are they gold?

All I find in my yard is nails, nails, and more nails.

Not sure how old the bullets are but I'm told that the neighborhood used to be a farm.
The thing that looks like a pearl is actually a silver ear ring and the ring is also silver.
Also found a saddle stirrup.

congrats on the interesting finds! The Ace250 is definately a great machine to start out with. From the stacks of coins you have there it looks like you will be buying accessories or coils for it in no time.
