Nice old buckle in my yard today

Just one of those days...not much to do so I was farting around the yard today. Got a strange deep tone and out pops this twisted bit of metal. As soon as I straightened and it broke I realized what it was and that I shouldn't have done that! Hoping, I put the pin pointer down the hole again and pulled out the side square piece...I wonder if the center tongue to it is around here somewhere?

Nice wreath to a 2 piece buckle, it can be repaired, now find that other piece and you might have a rare Civil War plate.
