New Jersey coat of arms at bottom. Eagle with star shield on top. Any ideas on what the pendant is?
Found in Cemetery in my yard right next to a church.

Is there possibly a makers mark on the back? Watch fob sized, but not the common attachment loop. Hmmm... could very well have hung from a medal. I'll look in the morning if no one has solved it, for what that's worth.

Here's the reverse. Not much there.

Something about those rays that extend from the lower sides is telling me, Medical or Fire services.

Here's a PIC that comes very close to what you have. This is from an antique Firemen's medals page. scroll down to see the highlighted picture. It's possible it might be a toy... https://www.google.com/search?q=ant...RAhUB3yYKHbA1C6MQsAQIOQ#imgrc=u-5fu2cD8G5yOM:

Thank you for checking that for me. The family that lived here in the 1800's did have a few local firemen in it.
