No Halves but some Nice $2

I hit the bank today to deposit a check and asked the teller for any funny money. Halves or Dollars. She said no but a guy just brought in a stack of $2 bills. See went to get them and I saw the red ink and said i would take them. I ended up with 4 1953 and 7 1963 uncirculated bills. 5 of the 63s are crisp new. Not worth much but a nice find.

That is really cool, esp since they're in such great condition. I don't know much about currency but I would think those probably would have some numis value. Great find!

Awesome find! I never ask for $2 bills, but will occasionally get offered them, I usually accept them when the tellers ask if I want them, since I will just dump them at a different bank once I gather up enough to make a dent into my bankroll, as I don't like spending them in everyday transactions.

Why not spend them in everyday transactions ? I,m pretty sure kids will find them cool.
