At this point we have not many people testing. Some EMI mixed in for an air test...........LOL.

Unless someone ships the detector for a test the test will not happen. Most likely others will need to report their own tests; this will take some time.
Perhaps some will show up on FB etc.

Push them out the door, revamp on the fly.

If the newer updates go in the direction of a second program of beefing / change up of one channel at a time could be useful for most of what some are finding say either smaller sizes or just the bigger size of gold. If the user can switch on the fly would make this easy / useful out in the field for example.

For the price of over $8,000 for a first of its kind new product, the primary item of value IS the software. Doubtful they will make it open source to the public. These PI detectors are extremely overpriced for what they are. The manufacturing price of the hardware is no different than VLF detectors.

Well, it appears that the Nokta Magnetar 9000 is now at the price of $4,999.00 at a number of outlets. Does this effect the decision of the detector?

Not yet buddy. Gotta get it in the hands of users in the field to flesh out any problems. But my thought it was overpriced seems confirmed, $3000 overpriced!!
