Unless someone ships the detector for a test the test will not happen. Most likely others will need to report their own tests; this will take some time.Haven't seen Ray on the site in quite a while...he does have a FB page, however.

Well, it appears that the Nokta Magnetar 9000 is now at the price of $4,999.00 at a number of outlets. Does this effect the decision of the detectorFor the price of over $8,000 for a first of its kind new product, the primary item of value IS the software. Doubtful they will make it open source to the public. These PI detectors are extremely overpriced for what they are. The manufacturing price of the hardware is no different than VLF detectors.
