NOT FANCY BUT MY LARGEST POTTERY PIECE TO DATE

Shocked when I pulled this from a sandy ditch I hunt. Thought it was the usual 2-3 inch piece I find. Not really a fancy one as far as decoration but still neat at about 5 inches square. My largest to date. It does have a neat top rim still there. I dug around in the area but no other part was found.

Rim sherds are always a good find, they can give you a solid guess as to the size of the pot and the general shape.
