Any suggestions? Note the hole at the top and the circle on the back suggesting hanging or mounting. Also, under magnification, flakes of gold are present suggestion plating.

Hard to tell. It's heavy (14.6g), I shaved a section off the back. It's silver in color. Maybe lead?
