Novice, is this an artifact?

Hi, I found this a few years ago in a creek in Utah, I thought it looked interesting, but maybe just a pointed rock?
I'm moving and came across it again while packing and wondered what it was. I can't tell if it's just a rock, or a man made spear point of some kind? Curious, thanks!

Without more photos of different angles or is very difficult to tell. That being said there does appear to be worked edges which of verified would make it a spear point.

It does look like a core struck blade as others said. Nice find.

I think it's just a rock and not really workable material. Still, check out artifacts found in that area of Utah and see what kind of material they were using, see if it compares. It would have caught my eye.

Early Tools from Florida

I've just started to photograph some artifacts in my modest collection. I've started with some tools from Paleo or Early Archaic Periods (best guess). I'm curious as to how these Florida forms parallel forms from regions outside of Florida. What do you think?

With the new photos of the edges in better view it is apparent this is not a worked piece unfortunately but with that being said I would have picked it up for a closer look to!
