.....that little piece on the bottom left of my other post kind of looks a bit like this color....only have found a few but it's pretty....what would it be called? Old flintknappers trick is to melt a little bee's wax on your points and buff them out. Covers the imperfections and won't hurt the point. Makes them shine nice also.

Not promoting that activity just an FYI.

...rock, what do I do with them.....admire them, so neat to think that they are these little bits of firey history..."mothers natures" home made glass & pretty. I'm sure they would make some nice jewelry or simply a nice specimen addition. :idea1:....hum...maybe should start a little business.....lol

... wow didn't know that Jon....good idea.....do use the mineral oil on some, do you know if that's OK & won't hurt? And what about reg. hand lotion, suppose that would hurt?
