I went out for a few hours today. Started at the large field that we hit last fall looking for the horse track. after 2 hours with nothing to show I went to a cellar hole that I found an Indian head penny at last year. This time another large cent 5th for year. this one was right on top of the ground just kicked some leaves away and there it was. I don't even have to dig them anymore just pick them up off the ground :D

Need any special kind of shoe for that?.....Congrat's and good luck on the race track!

It must be that new pair of Vibraprobe shoes. Nice find. I've researched an old pre civil war race track in my area, but I've never pursued hunting it. I guess I need to get on the ball and do it.

Nice large cent Tim.

I love when there on top. Never found a large cent on the surface though. Every one I ever found was atleast 8 inches deep.
