Oh my stars

CoilyGirl · Sep 24, 2015

My heart went thumpity thump when I dug this Walker day before yesterday. It was my first big "older" silver half( I had only previously found a Kennedy half.) I also dug two silver Roosies just a foot or so away from the Walker. Rumor has it there was an orchard where these coins were dug but golly gee, wouldn't you know it if you lost a half?

You wouldn't know you lost it if you were moving up and down ladders picking apples. At least not till the end of the day.....

A very special find ! The amazing design of these coins makes them an even nicer find (like a merc vs a rosie )

You just can't do better than a very nice, large silver in the hole.

Excellent!

Loco-Digger · Sep 24, 2015

Congrats on those silvers, I'd still be stoked. :headbang:

You may not notice dropping that if you are working on the nookie... You know, when that little brain take over.

Gotta love the Walkers. You never get tired of digging them. They are such a beautiful coin that causes a lot of excitement when you realize what you have dug.

Super nice silver! I have yet to find a large silver but then again we don't find too many coins down here! Po' southerners I guess. By the way, I'm still in awe of that CSA buckle!!! Very top of my wish list. Congrats!
