Old mine with old man carved on rock wall in California near Fresno?

I am just curious if anyone can tell me what old mines may be near Fresno, California and have an old man carved on the side of the rock near the mine? I am doing some research for a friend who found it and asked for help as he doesn't have the knowledge about such things.
