Man! I wish I'd known about metal detecting as a kid.....use to go to Canada every summer, (as my mother was Canadian until she married and moved to the US) and we went to visit every August......Love those Canadian coins!

Thanks everyone. I started md'ing this spring, and tot lots got old real quick. I'm at $246.77 in the clad count, with numerous junk rings. Total of 5 silver rings and 1- 10k 5 gram gold ring. Snow is coming sooner than later here in Saskatchewan. And I REALLY wanted to break into the 1800's this year with ANY coin. A 5 cent silver fishy did it quite nicely!

Yes Steve winter is creeping up fast in Saskatchewan . Would have been nice to get a hunt in with you before the snow will be falling , know of any good places that we could meet in the middle ?
