old ring

I have posted this ring befor but I am trying to find out how old it may be. I found it at a park that was used back in the 1850's.

At this time the detector is at my fathers house packed away for the winter so i will try to take it in on monday and see if i can find out how the ring was made and what the ring is made of. I will let you all know what I find out.


The green on the ring is the high point not the gold colored area on the face. the green looks like it was aplied over the gold colored metal leavind the leaf work showing threw.
