Older Button Find

I don't remember ever Asking for an ID on this one.

Slightly Large then a Quarter.
Back is Slightly Concave & won't
Scan Clearly.
Loop is Broke. No Lettering.

Design on front almost looks hand made.

Too small for a Dandy button (1750-1780) although similar time period. Dandy buttons were mainly copper-alloy & guilded.

I really do not know , but the flower stands out to me , and reminds me of the flower used on many coins from Japan or China

Just by the way it cleaned so easily, says Tombac, and lot of Tombac no longer have the shank, nice find Jeff, I know what you mean on locations. I was excellent on keeping a record on my coin finds, but I surely lacked on my buttons and other relics. Now I kick myself for not doing so..........
