No actually i haven't pm'ed one yet i figured if they wanted to tell me they could. I have heard its by invitation only so didn't really see a point in asking one

Being a Mod is pretty much a thankless job, mostly because you are placed in a situation
where you have to make judgment calls on the behavior of the members; many of which are
also friends. It's stressful at times, and PITA members become a particularly sore point to deal with.

There are upsides, do doubt, as a Mod has a position of respect within the on-line community, however there

Then you'd likely make a fine Moderator. It's not for everyone, but it sounds as if you
have the bulk of the "tools" already.

BTW, my comments were more "generalizations" not specifically directed at your particular
skillset. I've been a Admin (on numerous sites of varying topics) pretty much continuously
since about 1998, and it's really nice to come to a site and just be a regular 'Ol Member..
