Our weekend of new and old

Hi everyone, I hope your all having a great, and safe weekend, we both were able to use our machines today!

Yep, we have new coils, and found some great stuff while relic hunting!

But wait, I'm getting ahead of myself, our weekend actually started yesterday, when Chug called from work and said "Road trip!"

We grabbed our stuff and hit the road, singing along with Toby , Brad, Little Big Town, Carrie and more. The drive wasn't too bad, we saw some amazing scenery.

Now this is where it get's really interesting, and so cool! This place is so awesome, I took what pictures I could, we bought batteries before we left, but they ended up dying on us!

Anyway, here goes!

This will be out soon, I would love to have it where we live!

All these have been donated through the years, and are so amazing in person.

Some of the machines were taller than Chug, and he is 6'4! Holy cow, it's amazing how far we have come!

We also had brought some of our finds, Mary was awesome, she told us some stuff about one of our pieces that we didn't know!

She told us this stone is called Holly Blue stone, it was mined in Sweet Water oregon until 1996, when the mine was shut down. She said this piece is old, the color is rare, and jewelry is formed around whatever shape the stone is. Now if we could just make out the mark on the back.

She couldn't find their camera, she wanted to take our picture of us and our finds, we gave them some of our bullets, and after an enjoyable visit, and new coils, we hit the road again. Traffic was bad at one point, thanks to rubber neckers on both sides of the freeway.

, thankfully we didn't see any injuries, just alot of damaged cars and trucks. It took us longer to get home, but so worth it when we see our new coils! Today we used those new coils, so no more sharing one detector! LOL Love you Chug!

We both did great, Chug skunked me on bullets, and clad, that's ok.
