Greetings fellow T-Netters! ;D I paid a 2-hour visit to the local park here in my town...so I thought I'd share a pic to show you what all I managed to dig up. I don't know much about nickels, but I dug up my oldest one yet...a 1954d. What a gorgeous day to be out hunting! :icon_thumleft:

Does your nickel have an S mint mark?

A productive hunt! :icon_thumright: Keep at it, sooner or later one of those pull tab signals will be gold! Here's a website where you can learn quite a bit about coins...coinfacts.com

It has a "d" mint mark...

I was referring to the Buffalo Nickel posted which appears to have either a D or an S mint mark (small) which is located dead center bottom of the reverse side of the coin. http://coinfacts.com/nickels/buffalo_nickels/1924s_buffalo_nickel.htm

Very nice finds Desertvet! :hello2:
You're on the right track to finding silver soon!

Best of luck to you,
Dave
