✅ SOLVED Parrot on a coffe cup?

[DJWEHAGE]

Any ideas? Found in a park in Baltimore, Md. Dated 1920. Sorry about the image being upside down. Tried several times to upright with no avail!

Thanks,

Dave

Mt guess is that it is part of a Catholic Rosary.

Those are "worry beads" not a rosary.....Joe McDonough

AHHH from the folks who are worried about running out of coffee.

Maybe from an older Starbucks style cafe back in the day.

There was a blue parrot tearoom in Gettysburg at that time and a jewelry store two doors down from it..?
Also a green parrot tearoom in Maine with a giftshop.

An article suggesting sales of items other than tea were important.

That makes sense, Joe. Greek worry beads. Found them close to a Greek Orthodox Church. Bakelite beads, and could be Islamic.
