Pastor Searching For Forrest Fenn Treasure Missing

Also, Fenn has said he checks whether the treasure has been found on a regular basis. To me, he likely has a GPS or radio device cached at the treasure site that activates once the box is opened. Obviously if Fenn travels to the site himself the game is up as his house is under surveillance by obsessed treasure hunters.. Or perhaps he has a friend that travels to the site incognito.

People have free will. I don't need the local sheriff to tell me if I should treasure hunt, or prospect, or anything else in the outdoors. I sure as hell don't need the nanny state to protect me.

Consider that gambling halls and casinos have destroyed countless more lives than Fenn's treasure hunt.

The pink haired people are click-baiting the whole thing - as usual, with hysteria and without the facts. Their game plan is the constant methodical erosion of free will in all aspects of society. Drip, drip, drip. "Be afraid. Stay at home on Facebook. We'll tell you what you can and can't do. Trust us, we know what's best."

What liability? People write fiction all the time. Even on T'Net. To disprove Alice In Wonderland you would
need to jump down a rabbit hole.

I would like to think...

Perhaps he found the treasure and is sitting on some exotic beach with an umbrella drink in a coconut shell.

You mean a place like De Tampe Bahia

Snowflakes and SJW's now infesting treasure hunting websites too? FYI, Fenn did nothing culpable, nor does he owe anyone proof of his claims. His legal liabilities (none) have been discussed thoroughly in an earlier TNet thread and on other websites.

Anyone "victimized" by searching for this prize, hiking the Superstitions seeking the Lost Dutchman, diving for Spanish treasure ships or hunting a thousand other lost mines and hidden treasures is acting on his own volition. Same goes for folks hiking wilderness trails, rock climbing, sky-diving, surfing, motorcycle riding and any number of other potentially hazardous activities. Hopefully, Mr Wallace will be located alive. If not, condolences to his family are in order. That said, I for one don't wish to live my life in a nanny state - I prefer to make my own decisions and accept their consequences.
Bang on there sdcfia

Fenn has stated many times the "safety first" rule applies searching for his treasure. He placed the treasure where any child or elderly person can reach it without fear of risking life or limb. That precludes mountain tops, cliff sides and bottoms of raging rivers.

Also, Fenn is no fool. Like most successful businessmen he is likely "lawyered up" in this endeavor. States have laws governing "contests" , "prizes" have to be certified..i.e. confirmed to exist. I imagine the treasure itself is insured to protect it from various scenarios like being kidnapped etc

The families of persons who have died searching for his treasure have an extremely difficult road to challenging Fenn for culpability in their loved one's deaths.

Edit: just saw on news few moments ago the pastor was found dead in the river several miles downstream from where his backpack & climbing gear :(
Spot on Ryano. Not to mention he was a sick man with cancer and age also being a factor. Follow and understand the clues and you can find it. But perhaps it has already been found. Since the last line says go quietly. Meaning to continue the story for future generations
