Pee Dee

Found this point today. Alls I saw was a tiny pinky nail of it under the sand and gravel. Reached in and pulled this out. The glass it’s sitting on is circular but chipped all around. I would think if the chipping was old it would have the same look as the white flat sides even though it’s a blue glass. It’s about 1.5 inches long.

Well I’ve been looking up points all week trying to find a match. I have found maybe 6 of these over the years. Must be an unknown type cause none fit the descriptions. Thanks for the likes everyone.

Those little triangular guys are tough to pin down if they are a bit bulky… i never know if they are abandoned because it wouldn’t thin or if they were used up nubs of a larger blade… maybe meant to be exactly what they are, or if I’ve got them backwards and they aren’t points at all but a scraper

once you develop the "eye" you can really start spotting the hidden ones. my last find was just a line of red in the sand, easy to walk over and ignore.
