Hmmm, I'd say some type of water vapor causing a reflection of the moon in the sky. Similar to how a rainbow forms. If it were a secondary moon it would be visible everywhere. Just a guess. I'd like to see that.

You can Cause the Optical Illusion by zooming in !
no doubt about that

Seen it decades ago in North Dakota, sometimes called "moon dogs" caused by the moon light refracting off ice crystals in the upper atmosphere.

When I first saw it I thought "what the hell", but locals told me it happens on rare occasions in winter.

Seen it occur a few times myself. every few years it seems.
Oh saw the moon dog last night-and the reply yes we saw it too.
Nothing else, nothing more.
It seems that maybe when an urban dog moves to the rural and can actually see the sky-they see things that are strange to them.

That looks like some kind of reflection, either on the camera lens or some strange condition in the atmosphere. The outer two "suns" seem to be wrapped around a sphere or circle.

Looks like but not sir, that is what they look like to the naked eye...

I didn't mean to say it wasn't a real thing you saw, just that even if that's what you see with the naked eye, my immediate thought would be "reflection" rather than "multiple suns". It looks what you might see looking through a drop of water (or perhaps a big atmospheric distortion behaving like one).

Oh I know you weren't saying fake,👍 it does look like lens refraction, I only posted video so people know what causes it. It is lens refraction, just in atmosphere.

Seen both moon dogs and sun dogs in Minot N.D. Minot is the coldest place I think I ever lived, tore the state out of my atlas when I left, Minnesota was butt cold, but ND was colder....🤣 -32 f was lowest, I saw, wind chill was in -50f to -60f at times.

Spent 2 winters there.
