Got out on 2 back to back hunts with some fellow detectorist and made some awesome finds and saved some Savannah, GA history. Finds included 4 bottles- a broken Clark & Co New York Mineral Water, mid 19th Century champagne, 2 mid 19th Century Ginger Beer- one of them is a Codnor Park Pottery of some type, a brass plumage holder, Pre Civil War Eagle R button (we believed to have been used by the confederates), a small 2 piece civilian button and an old pewter toy plate. My favorite finds from these hunts were the large mid 19th century champagne bottle and the brass plumage (or plume) holder.
