You might consider browsing Sub-Forums: California for information (i.e., clubs, hunts, finds, legends, maps, etc.) directly related to your state.
 

Treasure is where you find it..in the case of fixed wing aircraft!

Old aircraft wrecks..you will find old coins, precious metals, paper money most of which is either scattered away from the wreckage or buried in the earth..people use private aircraft to transport things they would not on a large aircraft where your luggage is inspected! A short trip between A & B. Perhaps a source that is overlooked in a quest for treasure!

Welcome, interesting approach to treasure hunting. There is a guy from Italy that posts from time to time, he is finding personal items and returning them from WWII wrecks in Italy.
