Platinum on the DFX

I have been asked to find a Platinum ring tomorrow. I am pretty sure I will be able to find it but I am curious of where it is going to show up on my DFX. What VDI number should I expect? My wife is also going with me and will be using her Ace 250 so I need to know what a Platinum ring might register on hers.

I was recently talking with someone that found a platinum ring. He mentioned it only read an 8 on the vdi reading. I found out he was using best data. But as it can go, i am sure depending on size it could ring anywhere from about 6 up to 40-50!

VDI numbers can be very low as was mentioned. Also if another target is underneath, the numbers would be different anyway. Look for something under foil.
