4 degrees on the thermometer this AM. Don't know the wind chill, don't care, don't believe in weather hype. If I dress properly wind chill is not a factor. Colder than I like but it is winter in the northeast

4* F this morning in central Va . I let the New Hampshire red chickens out of the coop and they bypassed the feed trough to eat ice that was dumped from the water pan . they seem unphased by the weather .
I opened the door on the bantam coop and a few stuck their head out the doors and said nope not today.
