Boat oars I think are hinged, but I might be wrong. I am not sure what they are.

Look small for oar locks. Also the bottoms don't look right to me to be oar locks. Not sure what they are?

They are in fact oar locks. Unable to post link but just goggle image oar locks.

While I haven't seen them in person yet it's my impression that they are much too small to be oar locks. It looks to me that the open part is about the size of an average finger. I will find out for sure.

any markings? what material are they
