If my math is right it's still 200 million short of a billion, the odds are way higher than what you quoted.

Now the question is if you won it what would you do with the windfall of this 800 million, personally I'd buy this site and

Seriously what would you do, still detect, get dirty, change it up a whole lot and travel and detect, get a huge trammel and sift out the sites using machines? A person really has a lot of options when they earn 110K a day just on the interest.

[Loco-Digger]

I think I'd legally change my name to Jed Clampett and maybe have a cement pond put in the back somewheres.

I've always thought about what I would do if I won a ridiculous amount of money. I think now, I would buy up as much land that has historical importance, and dig to my hearts content, while eating homemade jerky. And no cellphone, so all my long lost relative's can't find me.

[digger460]

And I'd get a Garrett Carrot!

I think I might could afford to persuade 5 Ellie Maes to jump in the cement pond with me....and give them all a Garrett Carrot as a bonus....

[Peyton Manning]

be sure to use a 24 in there somewhere
although even if bigwavedave won it I bet he wouldn't even give me 500k

[ivan salis]

with taxes taken out --gimme my cash now --about 500 million dollars --half a billion dollars ...yep jed clampett kinda money

Sure he would...He might even buy the Colts for you!!

I would be a regular at the Barrett-Jackson auctions.

[Peyton Manning]

With that kind of money I would be at Mecum's auctions also.
I would drive a different vehicle every day...Yes I would purchase 365 cars/trucks. I would also help out my family, friends (yeh even the in-laws..)
And donate a lot to worthwhile charities.

[Crappies-n-Coins]

I'm getting my Compadre diamond-encrusted

[ConceptualizedNetherlandr]

You wouldn't get a purtty hair doo and run for prez?

[Loco-Digger]

If they do not give permission to hunt a sweet site that they own, buy their property. Land is still a great investment.

Or flash a crisp 100 dollar bill in front of them for consideration. You'd have enough to cash to do this forever.

[TheHunterGT]

I must be honest....if I won that much money I think this hobby would most like take the back burner for a while.

There are just so many new things that sort of money opens up that my time would probably be filled with crazy ridiculous new adventures for the foreseeable future.

[Peyton Manning]

yeah, I would sign the beeb to a contract and send him to siberia alone
