Prayers for Ashleens Mother

Re: Prayers for Ashleen's Mother

You have my prayers and hugs my dear friend

God will watch over you as you travel back and forth, and I will pray for your families healing and forgiveness of one another. I pray for your stepfather Ted and his continued recovery. I pray for your momma's recovery as well. I pray for you for your strength and rest needed to battle your current needs. Never forget God is by your side as well as us too.
Regardless of what caused the scene at the family wedding 5 years ago. It is time for some to step up to the plate and be there for "you".

Take care my friend, prayers constantly said and hugs constantly given

I have a good idea what you're going through, last year at 54 my mother had a very bad stroke that left her in a wheelchair and the paralyzed on the right. march 14 2008 will be a year, she is doing OK now she can still cant talk all that well but she get her point across. stay strong

Ill pray

Re: Prayers for Ashleen's Mother

Ashleen,

I'm very sorry to hear about your Mom.
We will be praying for her, you, and the family. Family splits are common in times of stress.
Hang in there....God is still in control :)

May an Angel watch over you and your family always..................

Re: Prayers for Ashleen's Mother

As one that is recovering from a stroke myself, my prayers are with you. It is very nice to have family visit everyday too as my food was awful and family helps the time go by faster. Therapy is the pits, but necessary. I thought they should have worn black hoods for the tpain they inflicted on my old body. An does anyone really use those story math problems they ask?

Re: Prayers for Ashleen's Mother

It's been a long 3 weeks, but we finally got Mom into a rehabilitation hospital. She has a long way to go, but God is good  I don't know what tomorrow will bring; but I do know Who holds tomorrow.

I've been staying down there during the week , bunking on the couch, taking care of Ted, and only driving home on the weekends.
I can't tell you how good it was to sleep in my own bed last night  And I sure was missing my hot tub :sad1:

On day 6 after Mom's stroke, we were told there was no hope. That she was not a candidate for Rehab, and no need for hospice 'cuz she wouldn't last much longer. They told us that anyone that needed to see her better get there quick.
I guess they never figured on the power of prayer! THANK YOU ALL :-* :-* :-*

Thanks for the update. I've been wondering how things where going. The power of prayer is awesome. Take one day at a time dear friend. That is all any of us can truly do. May God continue to provide healing.

Prayer is the most powerful thing in the world, God listens and cares. Family to me is second and we are there for you, holding you, your momma, and your family to the Father for strength, healing, and comfort. Take care
