pre columbian figure?

Found this serpentine stone figure of a stargazer in a thriftshop, could it be pre columbian? https://barakatgallery.eu/artworks/categories/987/96907-olmec-stargazer-figure-900-bc-600-bc/ mine has red pigment on it

i believe it is a replica because most of them are and notice the circled area where you can see the the red pigment is missing in de middle of the cutting face as if it was aplied.
