Headed out on the yaks to find no footprints on the islands. Fresh washed out rock and flakes everywhere. Found mostly brokes with a couple decent ones. Enough to put a small frame together for an Xmas gift. My bud who was with me did even better. Hope to go out again but who knows.

There ya are Americus. Was wondering about where ya were. These are all found on the shores of the Chesapeake bay in maryland. Quartz rhyolite and one black flint one.

Thanks digger and gator. Dlos this site is more north then Potomac. I've hunted the Potomac but haven't had to much luck.

Very nice. What is the green material in the frame? I am looking to put a small one together as a gift and that looks great.

Case was thick so I put in a few layers of cotton batting then covered that with green wool felt. Got it thick enough that the points won't move.

It's been slow lately. Real slow. We had the luck of high tides and coastal flooding coinciding with 50 mph winds. Tore up the beaches real well. Needed a good day of finds. Xmas to myself. Thanks for checking them out.
