Gonna be a couple days of running pulp cons, having to rehydrate buckets today should of done it last week, heats starting get to me.

Looks like the whole country dealing with high heat, we are getting some big heat comin our way, I knew the cooler weather was a fluke, God I hope it's not going to be humid...
Gt....
.

GT I wish you lived closer to me cause I'd re-hard face your jaws for free . I think I have enough of the hard facing rod to re-do them ! BUT as is the shipping would be more than the repair ! :BangHead: :dontknow: and a longer wait for your parts !

Thanks for the kind offer Russ I would jump in my truck and blaze over just to meet you and get the job done, it's not that I don't have time or $$.
There just too much hate for California n its people for me to do the trip . I have a bright red truck and California license plate..

Sad that I have to feel that way but its a sign of the times we are in..

I'm jazzed russ! this is first time you have ever talked to me on tnet .

Anyways thanks but I think I'm just gonna do the chicken poop job ...
Gt.....

Thanks again,
Russ this gesture of kindness has made this old miners heart happy !
Have a good day .....

Another day of washing pulp, had to clean out system got too muddy, so we get to run clear water and see the $$$ line for a half hour or so, jazzed.
Probably one more run n clean out before we are finished with all the buckets, panning stations and samples, and the 2 poo buckets from an old-timer camp n mill site, save for last, it's a crappy job..

Just looking at this bucket its loaded with values...
Getting a lot of smoke today, it tends to shave a few degrees off the temp.

Anyways just another day at Claudette mill..

I told you-all it's just same old stuff here milling n mining, things only get exciting when we find big gold or Murphy shows up,
Or someone shoots at us..
I guess I could lie make up silly crap to talk on...
I don't do modifications of equipment it works just fine as is..
I don't talk on minin claim info it's just a waste of time and complaining about not being able to mine that's the silly stuff..
Anyways doesn't appear to be much interest in minin here anymore, I keep my story goin till I can't ....

Keep the dirty side down..
Gt...
Takin day off from milling to much heat n smoke...

Something get the brain juices flowing, amalgamator.

It will be up n running in a few days, will explain then.
I'm not sure it's was intended to be used as amalgamator and I have seen 2 others like it out here.
Thought about it for grinding high grade but that would be easier done with a hammer.
I'm using for amalgam it works well, till someone tells me different I keep it..
It's a nice vintage tool anyways..

Still working on buckets, it take forever running table you have to keep a slow steady constant feed, don't want to overload the unit and wash away your values. I guess it takes about 45 minutes to run off 2/3 full bucket so about 60 lbs or so, I can run 4 before it's to hot out .
If it's really running high $$$ on the cons I can get a couple more buckets due to excitement of the yeller..( gold fever )
Once it hits 110 I'm heading inside...
Gt...

Herb: Glad you're not hanging out in that heat....it's sure to be bad for the body.

I grew up running around the deserts of So. Cal., but since I moved up here to
Wash. I can't handle hot days at all. If it's over 75F out, I'm indoors. Currently, it's
a whopping 65F on the front porch...not too bad for August..wish I could send some
your way...:occasion14:

GT, I love seeing the pics and your general updates. Keep up the good work!

PS I was in far northern CA at the end of June and loved it!

Hot yesterday at least no humidity
9 last night it was 102 ...
Had clean out system again, couple pulp buckets left and we can start the panning
Tubs, got three full of goods..
2/3 bucket of cons we can fire up the amalgamator get that yeller out, I'm guessing maybe 5 grams maybe..
My mining adventure were bottom feeders not a lot of flush days..
We might be in the new golden age, but I'm still waiting for it to show up here...
Here comes the judge got to geter done..
Gt..
65 degrees, is that in the shade?
Love it....

That black cloud of suicide is hanging over me still..
They say it gets better with time, I say they know not....
The end again...

sorry to hear about your son.

Not in northern CA, that was focused on family time. But I did get to hit the Rye Patch in NV for a couple hours on the way through. No luck but did my share of removing the nonferrous trash lol!

I have lost a lot of dear friends to suicide… most did a lot to hide their true feelings… it’s a difficult thing to make heads or tails of.

Running as much as the body n weather will allow, still managing a day here n there on the mnt.
Getting pretty hard to find anything missed or passed over.
Gotta put on my thinkin cap use my geology, actually look at the rock formations, trying spy any indicator of mineralization, not just looking for the old minin scars, that easy work.
Funny how just about everything I find has been at least scratched by old timers..
Not doin any detecting haven't found enough to be able to keep running and afford a new bleeper.
Broke mine couple years ago..
Can't do dry washin for a bit we got a good 6 hours of rain everythings soaked.
Good for critters bad for the dry minin.
Anyways gotta dry out all the electric get started running today.
First time I've tried sell my gold, trusted buyer said no, ain't buying...
Gosh I'm thinking as a miner it's a bad indicator of things to come. Price is up but if you can't sell you don't eat...

GT, Yeah, the whole area I've looked at is scratched over by old timer, and newer miners. I found two places last year I thought would lead me to something, but it was just all placer stuff, both pockets that were pretty rich, but lead nowhere. My drywashing is done also, with that deluge we got early this week. Be at least a couple of weeks before we can hope to drywash. Good luck Kiddo.
