Putting Life in Perspective

Elvis made more money then I did last year, and he's dead. What's that say about my work ethic when a dead guy makes more money then me?

nah, I get ya....life is so unfair, someone told me that one time, and you know what, they are right!

life is what you make of it, what you want from it. It's a balance between work and play. You trade off part of your life in work so you can play or do the things that give you pleasure.

Elvis traded off to much, he killed himself for his quest for fame. In essence, he burned himself out. Not many people think that kind of tradeoff is worthwhile.

Most people look at money as an indicator of success, I look at pleasure as an indicator of success. I have no regrets. Frank

Elvis's downfall was his inability to heed the word "no" either from himself or those close to him. Another great person burned too bright, too quickly.
