They are to get here and I will give it a try!

Even with 1300 fps, do they hold the stability at longer ranges with just 8,5 gr ??

I am asking because I would like to test them at 100 Meters.

Yes they do. The nylon skirt is the trick. Very stable of coarse wind came effect with that light gr. Pellet.

Tom I will say these pellets are made for small pests and targets. Probably not anything larger than a groundhog although I've taken one with this pellet.

Is the Hornet lead or steel? Looks lead. What gr.?

Lead with bras point

0.65 Gram or 10.03 grain

They are more expensive as others but they have all the exact weight! Normal pellets with points I have always to weight and sort out.

Buddy, do you know how many pressure his .30 has?
What kind of model is it and what kind of shape has the pellets?

Some time ago I saw a video from a Spanish air rifle channel and he made a test with 6 mm pellets on half inch wooden planks and he penetrated them up to 60 yards. The pellets had the classical 3 ringer shape.

Tom here’s my bubby’s setup. He shoots the FX PCP .30 cal. Using JSB 44.75 gr. Pellets.
An Armsight Zeus night vision scope, 1,2,4 digital power adjustable. He will also use that
Same scope on his .25 cal. At times. Usually gets 25 shots per charge. B6229E85-BCE4-486E-AFE1-D5F731916CF4.jpeg

Nice!

Gosh, with the allowed pressure here, the .30 pellet would just plop out of the bore and you could pick it up to use it gain LOL :laughing7: :laughing7:

Wow!
I have a Chinese springer break barrel.
Bought old Dad a piston type.
Started with a Crossman 760 as a kid.

A guy posted his deer kill here in Michigan elsewhere. Rifle did fine and the bullets effect (and bullet design is important with a given purpose as you know) left no complaint.
Quite the air rifle he uses. Sorry the details escape me.
I did look the rifle up , and scratched my head about the price. (!)
I won't be chasing one down...But do like the technology being applied.
